Electroville is an independent social enterprise registered with Social Firms UK. We were born out of the Disabled People’s Electronic Village Hall in mid 2003 and became fully independent in mid 2007.
We are based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire and cover the whole of the Yorkshire & Humber region.
Our mission is to help the Voluntary and Community sector make the most of the opportunities that Information Technology offers them, guiding them while they take on the challenge of grasping those opportunities and then supporting them as they work with the technology to provide more efficient and effective services.
We offer many services all surrounding ICT, such as ICT and funding advice through the ICT Regional Champion, specialist training to Senior Managers through net:gain, advice and support on Accessibility and a complete ICT support service to supply, install, maintain, service, upgrade, expand and repair computer equipment from a single laptop to a fully integrated network complete with Server.
We are a trading organisation limited by guarantee and not-for-profit. As such all income is generated from either selling services direct to our customers or through delivering contracts on behalf of national programmes such as Improving Reach and net:gain. In this way we can help to secure our ongoing sustainability and help ensure that we can be there to help and support the sector long into the future, rather than just for the period that we can get funded. Any surpluses are ploughed back into the company to develop the services we offer.
